5.4 What if my phone does not have a dial tone?
You pick up the telephone line but do not hear a dial tone? Follow these few steps before contacting us so that a member of our team can better help you.
Make sure your phone is plugged into the AC outlet or the battery is charged. In order to make sure that the problem does not come from the socket itself, you can try to plug your phone into a second electrical outlet.
Go to the Navigue.com phone box (see image below). Make sure there are at least 3 green lights on this box.
If this is not the case, check the connections at the rear of the unit. To make sure that the problem does not come from the socket itself, you can try to plug your phone box into a second electrical outlet.
Disconnect the cable from the "DC 5V POWER" jack for a few seconds (see picture below), while making sure that all the lights go off at the same time. Once all the lights are off, reconnect this cable. Then wait 5 minutes and pick up your handset to see if the dial tone has returned.
